Photography, for me, has always been about capturing moments and seeing the world through my own unique lens. Though I've always had a natural inclination for it, it's only recently that I've delved deeper into the artistry and theory behind each shot. Pairing that with a newfound passion for editing, I now capture not only moments but also vivid stories. I invite you to explore this visual journey, where each image speaks volumes. Enjoy!

My Photography

Ruins Of Vijayanagara

In history, we often learn about massive empires like the Romans, the British, and the Mughals.

But have you ever heard of Vijayanagara? At its peak, it was unimaginably wealthy, with bazaars that sold gold and diamond jewels by the jar, and yet so much of that legacy gets forgotten or rewritten through a Euro-centric lens, even in Indian history books. After the Battle of Talikota in 1565, the city was devastated and looted for over 6 months straight, leaving behind just stone: scorched, silent, and still breathtaking.

What hit me hardest was the artistry - temples where carved pillars play specific musical notes, turning architecture into music during rituals. Every wall is a carved record of a cosmopolitan culture. It's sad to see that what's left is barely preserved, because unlike Rome, it does not get the same attention and appreciation.

Solo Traveling over the Summer

Solvenia, India, Maldives, The UK

The summer of my Junior year in college, I decided to go on a bunch of small trips over the course of a month or so. It was genuinely such a great time, and I cherish it greatly. Here are my favorite snaps from it!

Türkiye

Istanbul & Cappadocia

During spring break of my junior year (I know, crazy eventful), my friends and I decided to travel to Türkiye. And my god, I have never been to a more beautiful place. The rich architectural history and culture, stemming from an incredible assortment of empires and peoples (the Greeks, Byzantines, Ottomans, and Turks, to name a few), have created a beautiful blend of churches, mosques, and everything in between. The Hagia Sophia and Basilica Cistern were my personal highlights, but take a look below for a few things that caught my eye!

And Finally, for those who made it

These are some snaps from early on in my photo journey, the precursor to my current style. Hope you enjoy them anyway!
